About the Event

This first-annual fundraiser gives attendees the opportunity to sample a variety of coffee roasts and styles, paired with a multitude of decadent chocolate-themed sweets and treats, ALL from Leavenworth area businesses. Participants will vote for a People’s Choice Award on favorite tastings to decide a winner! Tickets can be purchased from staff and board members or through the website.

How to Purchase a Ticket

All you have to do is make a donation of $15 using the donate tab at the top of our website using your name and labeling (for Coffee, Chocolate & Change) and your ticket will be held for the day of the event where you may pick it up!

You may also purchase them from any staff or board member whom you can get your ticket from them, just reach out and you will be directed to whatever works best for you!

What is the Mission of this Event?

The mission of this event is, the Alliance wants to get to know our community and would like our community to get to know us. The Alliance Against Family Violence is here to assist those suffering from domestic and sexual violence. We are advocates for sheltering, educating, and counseling those in need. We are to serve the Leavenworth County area and surrounding communities as needed. Coffee and Chocolate for Change. This event is to introduce ourselves to the community, provide resource information and have a fun community event while assisting in raising needed funds for the shelter. Your ticket purchase is not only an entry to a chocolate and coffee-tasting event. It is also an entry into a special drawing only a ticket holder may enter. Upon entry, there will also be a passport to get stamped while visiting our vendors. When that is completed, this will be your second chance entry to enter our ticket holder door prize. The event will offer $3 kids’ tickets for a table tasting/activity. These tickets are not part of the Prime ticket holder drawing.
